God of War arrives on PC in early 2022, confirmed from Sony

After numerous rumors it was finally confirmed - the 2018 God of War will get its PC release.

Sony says that they have developed the PC version of God of War as a high-performance port, which means that it will be the most graphically beautiful version of the game with the most options and possibilities. Shadows, reflections and other effects will be enhanced, and the game will also get support for 21: 9 ultra-widescreen resolutions.

Sony has partnered with Nvidia for this port and from the first day God of War will have specific Nvidia techniques such as DLSS and Nvidia Reflex for more responsive controls. And when it comes to controls, the PC version will support many controllers, but if you can't stand them, there will be gaming  mouse and keyboard.

As the owners of God of War on the PlayStation know - the game did not receive any subsequent content (DLC), so there will be none in the PC version. However, all PC game buyers will receive a reward in the form of armor sets and shield skins. Here is what will be offered:

  • Death's Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus
  • Exile's Guardian Shield Skin
  • Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
  • Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
  • Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
