Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have already leaked to the Internet on several occasions and revealed many of their tricks. The last leaks before the presentation revealed the complete specifications, but also the way in which Google will match Apple itself in some things. This is all we know about Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, the best new Android phones, at least on paper!

For starters, both phones will have Google’s special Whitechapel chip, support for 5G networks, and new technologies such as WiFi 6E. Furthermore, just because of its own chip, Google will reportedly provide as many as 5 Android upgrades for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which will raise the standard to that of Apple. Otherwise, in terms of specifications, here’s the deal:

Google Pixel 6

  • Screen: 6.4 “AMOLED
  • Cameras: 50MP (main rear camera) + 12MP (wide angle camera) + 8MP (selfie camera)
  • Battery: 4614 mAh
  • Chip: Whitechapel (reportedly in the range of Snapdragon 870 with much stronger NPU cores for AI)
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Memory: 128GB / 256GB

Google Pixel 6 Pro

  • Screen: 6.71 “Plastic OLED
  • Cameras: 50MP (main rear camera) + 48MP (Telephoto camera) + 12MP (wide angle camera) + 12MP (selfie camera)
  • Battery: 5000 mAh
  • Chip: Whitechapel (reportedly in the range of Snapdragon 870 with much stronger NPU cores for AI)
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Memory: 128GB / 256GB / 512GB

It is currently believed that both phones will see the light of day in the 10th month of the current year. Due to a special chip and Google’s experience in photo processing, the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro really seem like phones that are impossible to find a flaw. It is supposed to retain water resistance, stereo speakers, and NFC for contactless payment. With finally new and larger sensors combined with a Google Camera, the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro seem like the right phones for those eager for mobile photography.

Of course, with a slightly different design and unrivaled software support, the Pixel 6 series will appeal to fans of factory Android, but it’s worth noting that due to the current chip shortage, we wouldn’t expect it to be available any wider than the previous generations were. In terms of prices, two scenarios are assumed. In the first, the Google Pixel 6 costs $ 899, and the Google Pixel 6 Pro $ 999, and in the second, perhaps more realistic scenario, add $ 100 to each price from the first. Anyway, it remains to be seen how Google will play the cards this year.
