Microsoft will release Office 2021 , the next consumer version of its business suite,on October 5th. On the same day, the company will also release Windows 11.
Like the Office 2019 version, Office 2021 is a one-time purchase and will be available for Windows and macOS.The package is intended for those who do not want to subscribe to Microsoft 365.
Microsoft has promised to release more details about Office 2021 soon. We know from previous reports that the software package will have many of the same enhancements that were discovered in the Office LTSC version (a software variant for business users who do not have access to the Cloud).
Of the improvements, there are features that make it easier to access content and support for dark mode. Microsoft plans to support the software for at least five years, and from the start it will work on 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
