New DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

In less than a month, Ubisoft wants to release another DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla with Dawn of Ragnarök. This time, the player takes the role of Odin in the dwarf world of Svartalfheim, where numerous giants are up to mischief.

In 2022, more than a year after the release, Ubisoft is still developing further DLCs and content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The start for this year will be on March 10th. Then the company wants to publish the new expansion "Dawn of Ragnarök" and move the Viking adventure deep into Norse mythology. Dwarves and giants

After the DLC locations England and France, Dawn of Ragnarök is supposed to go to the dwarf kingdom of Svartalfheim, where the player as Odin is looking for his son Baldur. He is being held captive by the fire giant Surtr, who has invaded Svartalfheim. However, Surtr should not be the only giant in the DLC. According to Ubisoft, numerous fire and ice giants are waiting throughout the game world to be dismantled into individual parts by the player.

In contrast to the main game, Dawn of Ragnarök should also have some new weapons and skills. For example, you can transform into one of the aforementioned giant categories, let dead enemies fight for you, or fly through the air as a raven. In addition, a new weapon category called "Atgeir" is added. It is a spear with a blade at the end.

Ubisoft promises a total playing time of 35 hours for the DLC, making Dawn of Ragnarök the largest expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla to date. However, a high purchase price is also due for this. The DLC will be released on March 10 for 40 dollars. Owners of the Season Pass are also asked to pay because Dawn of Ragnarök is not included in it.

In other news, Activision has announced a significant overhaul of Call of Duty: Warzone for this year. Accordingly, Infinity Ward should not only develop this year’s series offshoot but also modernize Warzone at the same time. Changes to the game structure as well as to the graphics are planned – Warzone should in the future use the same engine as this year’s Call of Duty offshoot.

A blog post has been published on the Call of Duty official website, outlining the future of Call of Duty: Warzone. Accordingly, publisher Activision wants to significantly revise the game in the course of the year. Initially, the focus is on revisions that will be released together with the second season. Optimizations such as movement or performance should initially make the game less frustrating.
