Review of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

Xiaomi has made the most of the tried and tested platform of the Mi 11 Lite phone this year, so after the excellent Mi 11 Lite 4G, it is bringing the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G and the latest Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE to the markets.

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G does NOT come in the same compact edition with the same great 90Hz screen, stereo speakers, and support for 5G networks. I tried it too. XIAOMI 11 LITE 5G NO DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS

On the outside, all three models are identical and you will have a hard time recognizing which one you have in your hand. So this Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G does NOT leave an elegant and light impression for today's terms with a large enough screen.

Here, too, the plastic frame connects the completely flat glass front and the back. The front carries a 6.55 ″ AMOLED screen with a selfie camera hole and a speaker above.

There is nothing on the left side, and on the right are the Power button, which is also a fast fingerprint reader, and a volume control button.

At the top, there is another microphone and IR lamp of the universal remote control. Below are USB C, main speaker and microphone, and a tray for two nano SIMs or one nano-SIM and microSD card.

What it doesn't have, like the other two models, is a 3.5mm audio jack, but in addition to the mask, it also offers an adapter for connecting headphones to the USB C port.

The back is covered with frosted glass, so fingerprints and spots are not particularly noticeable. It has the same triple camera module in the upper left corner.

The most important thing in the whole story is that this phone is light in the hand and pocket and does not burden the user. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass, and it is resistant to water penetration when sprayed. XIAOMI 11 LITE 5G NO SCREEN

It is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a small selfie camera hole, FHD + resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The colors are beautiful and expressive again, and the readability at an angle is very good. In Settings, select 90Hz refresh for even smoother browsing.

The brightness is in principle quite sufficient, but in open and direct sunlight it could be a bit stronger.

The Always ON screen cannot be switched on permanently here either, but only for about 10 seconds.

So on this screen, you will surf the internet nicely, enjoy Netflix and YouTube and play games.

It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass. There is no foil on this model. XIAOMI 11 LITE 5G NO CAMERA

it has the same set of cameras. In front is a 20MP selfie camera and it takes decent photos while there is enough light. It is able to blur the background nicely when shooting in portrait mode. Videos can be recorded at 1080p 30fps.

At the rear, the main is a 64MP f / 1.8 camera with PDAF autofocus, and by default, it takes 16MP photos by compressing four nearby pixels into one. It also records 4K 30fps video with solid EIS stabilization.

It also offers an 8MP ultra-wide angle and 5MP macro camera with autofocus.

The camera interface is identical and offers many options and shooting modes. Supports AI and autoHDR. In addition to the automatic mode, you will also reach for Night, Portrait, or Professional shooting modes. Along with them, it also has a macro, but all of them are specialized, such as Film Effects and others.

In general, these cameras on the back of this phone can take very good photos in various conditions. ANDROID 11 + MIUI 12.5

Those who have already had the opportunity to use Xiaomi phones' MIUI interface already know the gist. Here Android 11 covers MIUI 12.5.7 and works very nicely and is full of features.

Through Themes you will easily customize the look of the interface, choose a new Control Center and adjust everything to your liking.

You can navigate the system with the buttons at the bottom of the screen or gestures. There are a bunch of those gestures that make it easier to work on phones with big screens, although I miss double-tapping the screen to turn off the screen.

The interface animations are smooth at 90Hz, so since it's not selected by default, be sure to turn it on.

I generally have no complaints. MIUI offers everything you need, and it works nicely. I didn't notice any bugs or infamous ads.

A standard set of Google applications, followed by those of Xiaomi. There are some pre-installed games but they are easy to uninstall. XIAOMI 11 LITE 5G NO PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY

The main difference between this model compared to the previous two tested is the driver chip. They installed a 6nm 8-core Snapdragon 778G 5G here. It has 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 / 256GB of data memory with the option of expanding with a microSD card if you will not use dual SIM. The Adreno 642L graphics coprocessor is powerful enough for smooth interface and gaming.

I am generally very satisfied with the performance, so I believe that every average user will be too, although it also runs demanding games such as PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9, so it is not a bad choice for gamers either.

The fingerprint reader is on the side of the device, and it is fast and reliable. You can also use Face Unlock with it.

Given the very good stereo speakers, you won't be disappointed with the sound quality either. It is true that there is no 3.5mm audio jack but today most have switched to wireless headphones or use a USB C to 3.5mm adapter in the package.

The quality of phone calls is neat, and there will be no problems with Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity. It also supports 5G networks, so that's not missing either.

The charger is included in the package and charges at 33W, and its 4,250mAh battery charges up to 100% in just over an hour. XIAOMI 11 LITE 5G NO RATING

Since I tried two very similar models before this one it didn’t surprise me how good it is. Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G is NOT easy to recommend to anyone who wants to spend a little over 300 euros on the phone.
