Compact and lightweight budget gaming mouse that is primarily intended for players of popular online multiplayer FPS games. It stands out for its affordable price while offering very good build quality, a modern optical sensor and excellent RGB lighting.

Sharkoon, with its budget gaming mouse, Light 2 100 offers a fairly inexpensive gaming mouse of modern design and respectable capabilities. Of course, given the target audience, this is also a mouse of smaller dimensions and a fairly small weight (78 g). The quality of the materials used in the production is very good, and the mouse comes with special Teflon “feet” that allow better longevity and easier use, regardless of the substrate.

Ergonomically speaking, the Light 100 is a gaming mouse primarily intended for right-handers. This is clear by the placement of two additional buttons on the left, which you can easily reach with your thumb. The mouse has six buttons, or, more precisely, five, and the sixth is located below the scroll wheel. At the bottom of the mouse, there is a special button that sets the polling rate (sampling rate) in the value of 125, 500 or 1000 Hz.

Of course, with every gaming mouse, precision is important, the quality of the built-in optical sensor. This is the PixArt PMW3325 sensor. Given that the Light 100 falls into the budget category, this is an acceptable solution. The maximum DPI is 5000, and you can adjust it to seven different values, from 200 to 5000. You can adjust it via the button below the wheel or via Sharkoon software.

The performance is more than good. The mouse is very precise and responsive. Clearly, there are far more expensive gaming mice, which offer greater precision. However, considering the price, we are of the opinion that the overall result is more than good. We also emphasize that Omron switches are used for the keys, which are specified for up to 20 million clicks.

In the end, we can say that Sharkoon’s Light 100 is a very good budget gaming mouse. The quality of workmanship is at a top level, the mouse is precise enough, and at the same time, it is extremely light. Attractive RGB lighting and software for adjusting all possibilities, complete the positive impression.
