The hacker explains the importance of new hardware for Windows 11

Many users who felt that their computers had enough powerful hardware to run Windows 11 OS were quite frustrated when they discovered that their PC was not compatible, or "W11 supported", although all major components far exceed the minimum requirements, because its motherboard does not have support for TPM 2.0, which is one of the main requirements of Microsoft.

As other testers in Windows Insider have found, this does not mean that Windows 11 cannot be installed on officially unsupported configurations, but that it is not recommended, primarily for security reasons.

To clarify what the matter is, Microsoft has hired its “hacker service” boss Dave Weston, who explains the subject in a very simple and understandable way, as you can see in this video .

Microsoft says it has conducted a plethora of tests on older hardware to determine if Windows 11 can be installed on many more computers. In the end, he concluded that you would have no problem installing W11 on many of the computers that were running Windows 10, but you can expect a drop in performance, system crashes, and applications in certain percentages of cases (approximately 52%).

If that doesn’t bother you too much, feel free to upgrade because the chances of having problems are about the same as getting corona if you are unvaccinated.
