More than a year ago, Apple announced that in the next two years all Mac computers will be available with Apple Silicon chips designed by this company. There are reports on the network about the imminent premiere of the new iMac Pro, which is to be equipped with these processors.
Technical specification of the new iMac Pro
Computers are reportedly equipped with a screen diagonal of 27 inches or slightly longer, but the latter option is rather unlikely. The screen is to be made in mini-LED technology, and one of its characteristic features will be support for Pro Motion technology, i.e. adaptive screen refreshing with a maximum frequency of 120 Hz.
Of course, the new iMac will feature Apple Silicon systems. The company will use the same processors that are equipped with the new MacBook Pro, i.e. M1 Pro and M1 Max.
It can therefore be expected that the technical specifications of iMacs will be very similar to the already mentioned new MacBook Pro models. The main difference will be the size of the screen and the form of the machine itself. iMac is an all-in-one computer.
Apple brand devices are not cheap, for example, a Pro Display XDR monitor with a mini-LED display costs almost 6,000 dollars. It is very likely that the price of the new iMacs will also be very high. It will be mainly influenced by the use of a mini-LED screen.
Considering that it is a computer with a built-in screen, and not the monitor itself, its price may be as much as in the case of the aforementioned Pro Display XDR. You need to add the price of all the components necessary for the operation of the computer, but keep in mind that Apple has been using mini-LED technology for over two years, so its price is certainly lower than at the beginning.
The new iMac Pro series is expected to debut next spring. This is not an unlikely scenario as Apple has often held product presentations at this time of the year.
