Bell & Ross launches the first dual time zone model in the BR 05 range
Bell & Ross expands its more urban collection with the launch of the BR 05 GTM, the first dual time zone model in the range, designed to travel and accompany the transition between different urban realities.
The luxury sports watch model, made of steel with an integrated bracelet, is a winning formula. The BR 05 belongs to the family of watches with an integrated bracelet, a square steel case, and a dial that reflects the architectural DNA of the brand. Thanks to its integrated design, robust comfort, and careful finishes, the BR 05 fits like a glove with any active urban lifestyle. And this new BR 05 GMT is designed to travel and accompany the transition between different urban realities, the ultimate tool for globetrotters.
The BR 05 GMT has been created respecting a soft solidity. Its proportions are large but measured. It alternates between curves and lines and is robust, yet fluid and flexible. Its strong personality embodies the idea of contemporary man and represents the trend of the new icon: the jewel of strength. In fact, this new creation within the BR 05 collection represents the culmination of a distinctive design inspired by the professional world of tools designed for a specific mission.
The new model is a combination of solid and stainless materials that contains the best Swiss watchmaking mechanics. With an elegant and ergonomic steel armor, the mechanism is configured in two time zones, codes of the new instrument of the "urban explorer". It is equipped with an automatic caliber with a GMT function, driven by a 360-degree oscillating mass and sapphire crystal case back.
The BR 05 dial offers optimal readability. Its black color contrasts with the large numerals, indexes, and hands covered in white Super-LumiNova, an ingrained scheme in the brand that echoes the colors used for the flight instruments on board. Inspired by airport signage principles, the skeletonized hour and minute hands are made of metal appliqués. Orientation in time and space
The GMT hand blends seamlessly with the BR 05 aesthetic and is highlighted by a red arrow. White, black and red, symbolic Bell & Ross colors, guarantee perfect legibility both day and night. More than just a GMT hand, this arrow is primarily a symbol of orientation in time and space.
While the white hands indicate the time at the wearer's current location, the red arrow hand on the inner 24-hour graduated bezel shows the time in your home country.
To read the time at a glance, the black semicircle on the inner bezel corresponds to nighttime hours and the gray semicircle to daylight hours. In order to present this 24-hour scale and add the bezel, the Bell & Ross creative studio has increased the diameter of the dial and the dimensions of the case.
There is a version with an integrated polished and satin steel bracelet and another with a black rubber bracelet, both 41 mm and black dial, with a price of 4,990 euros and 4,500 euros respectively.
