Corsair Introduces MP600 PRO XT, New NVMe M.2 Gen4 PCIe x4 SSD

It consists of three models with a capacity of 1, 2, or 4 TB. The 1 TB model provides sequential readings of up to 7100 MB / s, sequential writings of up to 5800 MB / s, random QD32 readings of up to 1,200,000 IOPS, and QD32 random writings of up to 900,000 IOPSS. The 2 TB model provides sequential readings of up to 7100 MB / s, sequential writes of up to 6800 MB / s, random QD32 readings of up to 1,200,000 IOPS, and random QD32 writings of up to 1,000,000 IOPSs, while the 4 TB model provides sequential readings of up to 7100 MB / s, sequential writings up to 6800 MB / s, random QD32 readings of up to 1,200,000 IOPS and random QD32 writings up to 1,000,000 IOPS.

All models measure 80 x 23 x 19 millimeters and weigh about 66 grams, and their special feature is the aluminum heat distributor, which maintains the optimal temperature even at maximum operating speed. The manufacturer used an 8-channel Phison E18 controller and Micron 3D TLC NAND memory chips (these are the latest chips that use 176 layers of NAND memory). Also, PCIe Gen4 guarantees maximum disk bandwidth, and backward compatibility with the PCIe Gen3 interface allows flexible use of fast storage in various computer systems, with the proviso that we must then count on reduced performance.

It is worth noting that the latest SSD is also compatible with the Corsair Hydro X series XM2 water block (which you have to buy yourself), which provides even lower operating temperatures and improves the life of the SSD. Like all Corsair SSDs, the MP600 PRO XT works with the free Corsair SSD Toolbox software, which allows you to use a number of convenient features, such as securely deleting data or updating firmware directly from the desktop.

Corsair also promises high levels of durability, with 700 TBW for the 1 TB model, 1400 TBW for the 2 TB model, and 3000 TBW for the 4 TB model.

The Corsair MP600 PRO XT SSD NVMe M.2 Gen4 PCIe x4 is already available for purchase in the Corsair online store and on the worldwide network of authorized Corsair resellers and distributors. The price of the SSD is 220 euros for the 1 TB model, 440 euros for the 2 TB model and 1080 euros for the 4 TB model. All models have a five-year manufacturer's warranty.
