Pimoroni Yukon Review: Building Your Dream Robot
In the world of robotics and engineering, passion often fuels innovation. Dr. Chris Parrott, a dedicated robotic enthusiast, brings his love for robots to life through Pimoroni's latest creation – the Yukon. When he's not working on robotics projects for Pimoroni, Dr. Parrott spends his time tinkering and building robots of his own. The Yukon is a testament to his dedication and expertise in this field.
Unveiling the Yukon: A Modular Robotics Marvel
At a price point of $24 for the standalone board or $90 for the complete kit, the Pimoroni Yukon is a powerful modular robotics and engineering platform centered around the RP2040 microcontroller. The same RP2040 chip that powers the popular Raspberry Pi Pico W finds its home at the heart of the Yukon. Having had the opportunity to witness the Yukon in action during July 2023, we can attest that this creation bears the unmistakable imprint of Dr. Parrott's passion and ingenuity.
