Adobe brings Photoshop and Illustrator to the web
In the web versions of the program, you will be able to perform basic edits and collaborate with others.
Adobe has announced that it has made a significant step forward in bringing Photoshop and Illustrator to the web. The idea is not to offer you all the image editing functions from the web interface as in the desktop version but to allow your collaborators to open and view your work in the browser to send you comments, reminiscent of what you can do with Google Doc.
It is currently possible to store your work in Adobe Creative Cloud and allow anyone to open it from anywhere, but they will need a desktop or iPad app.
Now with Photoshop or Illustrator, your colleagues will be able to view what you’ve done and comment directly in the browser without having to download apps or subscribe to Creative Cloud.
In addition to the basic collaboration tools, Adobe will also offer some basic editing tools that will allow you, as they say, “small tweaks and quick edits”.
The new features are currently in the testing phase and are available through the Photoshop beta within the Creative Cloud app, or as a private beta for Illustrator.
If you wish, you can request access to beta testing via this link.
