Arctic introduces an exclusive CPU cooling

Are you looking for efficient and effective cooling for the processor? Arctic has recently introduced an interesting offer that may be of interest to owners of the latest AMD and Intel platforms.

The Arctic A35 and i35 models, because we are talking about them, were announced some time ago. Now cooling has officially entered the market, so we can summarize all the information.

The Swiss manufacturer of cooling solutions Arctic recently announced that the Freezer 35 CPU cooler family is complete. In addition to the standard version Freezer i35 / Freezer A35 and the previously introduced A-RGB models, the RGB coolers for Intel (socket LGA 1700, 1200, and 115x) and AMD (socket AM4) are now also coming onto the market.

For continuous operation, Arctic offers CO cooler versions of the Freezer i35 and A35 with double ball bearings. This bearing should be much less affected by contamination and high temperatures than ordinary plain bearings and should guarantee reliable continuous use without compromising performance and durability.

Simplified assembly and RGB features

With its coolers, Arctic emphasizes the improved mounting system with spring-loaded screws, which should achieve optimal contact pressure and even distribution of the thermal paste. With the socket-specific Freezer 35 variants for Intel and AMD, according to the manufacturer, unnecessary mounting material is reduced and the installation of the cooler is simplified.

The cooler Freezer i35 and A35 RGB have 12 analog RGB LEDs in the hub of the 120 mm P fan. These should be uniformly controllable and compatible with the common RGB standards of the mainboard manufacturers. This enables a direct connection via a 12 V 4-pin RGB header on the mainboard.

The equipment also includes four direct-touch heat pipes, while the volume should be 0.3 sones (0.35 for RGB and A-RGB). The dimensions are 133 × 91 × 158.5 mm (W × L × H) with a weight of 734 grams (746 grams for RGB and A-RGB).  Arctic A35 / i35 - looks tempting, but not cheap

So far, only models with RGB / ARGB LED backlight are available for sale - the prices are not the lowest, because we will have to pay for them about 80 dollars. Standard models are expected to go on sale in February (and can be expected to be available at lower prices).

Is the Arctic A35 / i35 worth the money? The first cooler tests can be found on the web, which pays attention to good performance, quiet operation, and interesting design (versions with backlight). Among the disadvantages, there is a non-replaceable fan and a fairly high price.
