While we wait for the release of AMD's 6000 series Rembrandt APU, based on Zen 3 cores and RDNA2 graphics, surprising information is arriving about the next generation of mobile processors, which is expected to be released in more than a year. The Ryzen 7000 series of mobile processors is codenamed Raphael-H. These processors will have up to 16 cores, based on the Zen 4 architecture. It is suggested that the Raphael-H models will represent an adaptation of the Raphael desktop processor, but it is not known how much the mobile version will differ from the desktop model. Rembrandt APUs (6000 series) are expected to be released first, followed by Raphael-H and Phoenix mobile processors. AMD could disable the iGPU on the mobile version of the Raphael-H processor, but this is currently only in the domain of rumors.
