DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS
The model weighs 159g and is IP53 certified spray resistant. Gorilla Glass 6 glass is also mentioned on the screen. It is a very elegant and light phone, made of glass on the back and front with a plastic frame.
Mi 11 Lite 5G front and rear are completely flat, except for the camera protrusion on the back. The screen frame is nicely symmetrical and not too thick. The selfie camera hole is also not overly conspicuous. Above the screen is another speaker, which is also call headset. The second is on the lower edge with USB C, main microphone and tray for two nano-SIM cards, nano-SIM and microSD.
At the top, there is another microphone and IR lamp of the universal remote control. It is followed by the Mi Remote app and can be a very practical thing. The left side is clean and the right one carries the physical volume control buttons and the Power button with a quick fingerprint reader.
We like that the rear window here has a matte finish, so it collects significantly fewer fingerprints. The camera module is identical in appearance and content. The package includes a protective mask, and the front is protected by a pre-applied foil. I’ll say it again. This is a very eye-pleasing and elegant phone, comfortable in the hand and pocket. SCREEN
There are no surprises when it comes to the screen either, so this 5G model Mi 11 Lite phone also has a 6.55" AMOLED screen with a small selfie camera hole, FHD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It looks equally beautiful, we would like the lighting to be a little brighter, especially outdoors.
The colors are beautiful and expressive, and the readability at an angle is also very good. The contents on the screen when you select 90Hz refresh settings slide smoothly under your fingers.
The AlwaysON screen cannot be switched on permanently here either, but only for about 10 seconds. It is therefore a screen that you will be happy to watch while surfing the Internet and social networks, playing and watching movies on YouTube and Netflix. They would say the size is just right. CAMERA
The rear has a 64MP f/1.8 camera with PDAF autofocus, and by default, it captures 16MP photos by compressing four nearby pixels into one. It also records 4K 30fps video with solid EIS stabilization. It also offers an 8MP ultra-wide angle and 5MP macro camera with autofocus.
The camera interface is identical and offers many options and shooting modes. Supports AI and autoHDR. Besides the automatic mode, you will also reach for Night, Portrait, or Professional shooting modes. Along with them, he also has a macro, but all of them are specialized, such as Film Effects and others.
Very nice photos can be taken during the day with the cameras on this phone. Portraits with a blurred background also look very good, and macro photos are not bad either. At night, the results are certainly weaker than on the Mi 11 flagship models. There is no OIS, and the sensors are smaller. PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY
The Snapdragon 780G is with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of data memory. The 5-nanometer chip and more RAM is definitely felt, so it surpasses the 4G model in terms of performance, which is also evident through the AnTuTu result. The interface and operation of the phone are smooth and fluid, and without problems and overheating it plays games such as Pubg and Asphalt 9.
It is, therefore, a mid-range phone, but a very good phone, which will not disappoint even the spoiled ones with its performance. The fingerprint reader is on the side of the device, and it is fast and reliable.
The quality of phone calls is neat, and there will be no problems with Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity. The charger is included in the package and charges at 33W, and its 4,250mAh battery charges up to 100% in just over an hour.
Autonomy is also very good and great considering how thin and elegant this phone is. I neatly pulled out 8 hours of SOT on one charge, which means that the normal family will be pushed out for two days. It will, of course depend on how much you can spend in front of the phone per day.
