Trust GXT 970 MORFIX is by nature a gaming mouse with wired connectivity and an optical sensor. It connects to computers with a braided USB 2.0 cable without the need to install drivers. Computers automatically recognize it and it’s ready to use right away.

DPI is adjustable in the range of only 200 to 10,000 and as such, is suitable for a variety of scenarios. The optical sensor has proven to be accurate for both everyday PC work and gaming tasks.

It is made entirely of plastic with the impression of solid build quality, although not at the level of premium mice. It is ergonomically designed and is intended for right-handers. Attractiveness raises adjustable RGB lighting to a higher level. It glides nicely and smoothly on various surfaces.

In addition to two standards and two additional buttons and a wheel on the top, the Trust GXT 970 MORFIX is also equipped with three side buttons for controlling the thumb of the right hand.

What makes it so adaptable and what it actually deserves is MORFIX in the name of adaptability, in the sense that the three buttons on the left side can be covered with a magnetic plate that carries as many as 9 additional buttons. This raises the total number of buttons to 14.

Just about every button on this mouse can be reprogrammed to your liking and needs. This is done through the Morfix application, through which the RGB lighting is also regulated. With this application, up to 168 different commands can be programmed with one click.

Once your thumb has inserted the position of these 9 buttons on the side into the muscular memory, they can be very practical in games of various types. In the package, you will also get two different plates that are again attached to the right side with magnets.

The Trust GXT 970 MORFIX offers the precision and ergonomics we expect from a gaming mouse, although at a slightly higher weight than you’re used to. The finish is very good, although I would like it to collect fewer fingerprints and grease from the palm. It is compatible with Windows PCs and laptops and is designed for right-handers.
