Motorola will officially unveil the upcoming Motorola Moto Edge X30 smartphone tomorrow. New smartphone renders appeared before the announcement, giving us a closer look at what to expect. Specifications have also leaked earlier, and it could only be the first device to run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform.
Motorola has shared new images on the Weibo network and confirms the leaked renderings we reported on earlier. Although we still don't have official information about the specifications, here's everything we expect to see tomorrow.
The Moto Edge X30 is rumored to be running the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and although the memory options aren’t clear, we expect to see at least 8GB of RAM. As for the screen, previous rumors said it would be a 6.67-inch panel, and Motorola has confirmed that it will come with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and will be HDR10 + certified. It will also have an opening for a 60MP selfie camera. It is also rumored that there is a selfie camera below the screen, although this could perhaps be reserved for the X30 Edge Pro higher-end unit.
On the back, the device will have three camera sensors. A primary sensor is a 50MP unit, while the second will be another 50MP camera for ultra-wide photography, and reportedly there will be some sort of 2MP sensor. When it comes to durability, it has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 68W fast wired charging.
The Motorola Moto Edge X30 will be unveiled tomorrow, while sales are expected to begin on December 15th. It is not yet clear whether the device will arrive outside China, although other previous Edge series have often arrived in North America and Europe.
