The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti card was announced at CES 2022, but recent leaks indicate that the premiere has been postponed (according to unofficial information, there should be problems with the proprietary versions of the accelerator).
The new card is to take the position of the top graphics card for desktop computers, but we do not expect a large increase in performance compared to the GeForce RTX 3090 model (i.e. the current leader).

One of them is to be the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X, which is to be one of the top versions of this model. The card has already been overclocked to 1880 MHz at the factory, but in the MSI Center application, you can activate the Extreme mode increasing the clock speed to 1900 MHz.
The manufacturer used the powerful Tri Frozr 2S cooling (it is probably the same cooler as in the regular MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Suprim X model). An additional advantage is the power limit increased to 480 W (the card requires connecting three 8-pin power plugs, and the manufacturer recommends using a power supply of at least 1000 W). Details on the availability of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti have yet to be disclosed. It is no secret, however, that the new model will be expensive - now the prices of GeForce RTX 3090 cards oscillate around 3500 to 4000 dollars.
Several European stores have already published pre-sale offers for the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Gaming X Trio models at around $ 3,500 and the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Suprim X at around $ 3,600.
How will it be in practice? We will probably find out after the premiere, when the cards reach the stores unless they are bought by miners mining cryptocurrencies.
