Samsung quietly launched Galaxy A03

Building on the Samsung Galaxy A02, which was released earlier this year, the Galaxy A03 comes with a 6.5-inch HD + screen with a droplet notch and a limited refresh rate of 60 Hz. Samsung says the Galaxy A03 runs an octa-core 1.6 GHz processor but does not explicitly confirm which chipset is used here.
It will come in several configurations including 3GB / 32GB, 4GB / 64GB and 4GB / 128GB options. There was no confirmation as to whether the microSD card extension was available here or not. The Galaxy A03 should provide reliable all-day operation thanks to an internal 5,000 mAh battery. There’s even support for Dolby Atmos here, which is often left out on budget devices.
At the back, you'll find a dual-camera setting consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for additional depth effects in portrait mode. The front selfie camera is 5 megapixels. This provides a pretty big advantage over the Galaxy A02 which includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 23-megapixel macro camera.
Unfortunately, Samsung does not confirm which version of Android the Galaxy A03 is using. It can come with One UI 3.1 or the recently released One UI 4.0, at this stage it is unclear.
No price details have been released for the Galaxy A03, but you will be able to get this cheap device in black, red, and blue. We are confident that Samsung will release pricing and availability information in the coming weeks.
