Asus announces two models from 494 euros

The Geforce RTX 2060 with 12 GiB graphics memory was launched a week ago without availability. Asus has now announced two models for the end of December.

With the Asus Dual Geforce RTX 2060 EVO and an OC Edition, two more custom models from Nvidia's latest graphics card new edition with 12 GiByte graphics memory, which, as is well known, started on December 7th without the Founders Edition and without any noteworthy shop listings - and if so, will appear soon only from 600 euros.

Both new Asus models with a TU106 chip and 2,176 CUDA cores will appear at the end of December, at a recommended retail price of 494 euros for the regular Evo version and 499 euros RRP for the OC edition. According to the announcement, the latter should run at 1,710 MHz in OC or Boost mode and 1,680 MHz game clock, while the normal Evo version lists a 1,470 MHz standard clock and a boost of 1,680 MHz in OC mode (standard: 1,650 MHz ).

Both cards use a 2.7-slot heat sink in addition to an axial-tech design with two fans and IP5X dust protection. On top of that, there is Asus' 0db technology, which lets the fans start up from 55 degrees Celsius GPU temperature and stop again when the temperature drops below 50 degrees Celsius. On the connection side, there are two HDMI 2.0b, one DisplayPort 1.4a, one DVI-D, and the 8-pin power connector. The dimensions of the cards should be 242 x 130 x 53 millimeters. Availability situation

The Asus Dual Geforce RTX 2060 EVO without factory overclocking and in the OC edition are not listed at any retailer and therefore have no real market price. Otherwise, there are currently a total of 15 listed custom models from various manufacturers, but wherever the situation looks like this. Overall, it is expected that availability across all manufacturers will not start until the remainder of December, while the lowest price reported by an unspecified board partner is said to be US $ 459 MSRP.
