Corsair is introducing two new power supplies from its HXi 2022 series, rated at 1,000 and 1,500 watts, respectively. Corsair HXi Series 2022: Power supplies with 1,000 and 1,500 watts

Corsair is expanding its product lineup with two new power supplies from its HXi 2022 series, the HX1000i and the HX1500i, which should deliver 1,000 and 1,500 watts, respectively.

Corsair describes the power supply as having fully modular wiring and triple EPS12V ports, ensuring full compatibility with contemporary mainboards.

A 140 mm fan with Fluid Dynamic Bearing is also included in the package. Corsair iCUE software compatibility is also supplied, which should be able to design custom fan curves as well as monitor and alter performance settings.

Furthermore, while operating, the software can be utilized to choose between single and "multi-rail" overcurrent protection (OCP, Overcurrent Protection).

What is less common in power supplies is an optional USB connection to the mainboard, which both HXi power supplies in the 2022 series have.

The power supply HX1000i and HX1500i are also 80 Plus Platinum certified. Corsair also mentions Japanese 105°C capacitors and a 10-year warranty.

The costs of Corsair's two HXi 2022 series power supplies are already known. The HX1000i will cost $238.90, while the HX1500i will cost $279.99.
