HP Laptop 15s-eq1035nm - Performance monster
This HP laptop does not consume too much power, does not overheat and is not too noisy, even under prolonged use. Solid screen...
Ryzen 4700U, which has 8 fast Zen 2 cores with excellent energy efficiency. With this model from the 15s series, HP clearly shows us what can be achieved when this processor is “packaged” in a mainstream laptop.
The performance is really great for this price range. Moreover, with this model, HP did not save too much in terms of hardware configuration. In addition to a very fast 8-core processor, we also find 16 GB RAM and a higher capacity NVMe SSD: 512 GB. Thanks to this hardware configuration, this model of HP’s mainstream laptop achieved the best results.
We can freely say that even noticeably more expensive laptops will often not offer you this level of performance. This is the only laptop of all test candidates that can provide you with more than comfortable and fast image and video processing, or excellent performance in any processor-demanding task.
AMD’s Ryzen 4700U is a far superior solution than everything Intel currently offers us in the mainstream class, although its Tiger Lake processors are still some competition. However, what is particularly impressive about the Renoir APU is the performance ratio per watt of power consumed. Thus, the Ryzen 4700U is an extremely energy efficient processor, which can be seen in this case as well.

Above all, the time of autonomy we recorded is super respectable. A little less than seven hours of continuous 1080p video playback on battery may not be the best result in our comparative test, but considering the built-in hardware, it is definitely to be commended.
In terms of performance, it can also replace a cheaper mainstream desktop computer. So, if portability is not the most important thing for you and you want to use it at home, this is a great choice. However, any IPS screen, even one that does not belong to the highest class, in this case would bring a far better image quality and more comfortable use of the device.
