If you need the best

Kingston KC2500 Series drives offer customers superior performance complemented by additional security features that professional users will enjoy.

Kingston’s high-end offering comprises the KC2500 series NVMe PCie 3.0 M.2 SSD, which are upgraded from the original KC2000 series. Users are offered the superior performance that the PCIe 3.0 standard can provide, and on top of that, the drive comes with advanced support for disk encryption so data doesn’t end up in the wrong hands. The series of disks ranges from 250 GB up to 2 TB for those who need the maximum amount of high-performance storage.

Disk specifications specify up to 3,500 MB / s read speed. Writing to disk is slower by default and results in 3,000 MB / s. Even the speeds of working with unsequenced small data are impressively fast, so every application will fly at maximum speed. The SSD uses a SM2262EN controller from Silicon Motion that ensures fast SSD operation and manages cache memory to keep everything running smoothly.

Although it is a huge disk, of course, it comes with a software package for more detailed control and updates, but also for implementing over-provisioning, a setting that will ensure that sacrificing 10% of capacity you have the best performance no matter how full SSD. The SSD uses flash memory from Toshiba, specifically newer 3D TLC chip, to achieve speed. We mentioned encryption and it is AES 256-bit encryption that you can achieve with their software, but also with other programs because the hardware is also supported by NANDXtend ECC technology.

Finally, we recommend this disk to professionals who want to further insure themselves against data theft because the disk focuses on it and of course, requires a higher price that becomes unprofitable for the average user.
