Logitech G535 - Life is Great Without Wire

The weight of the headphones is one of the most important factors for their comfort. If you find a heavy headset, there will be no innovation in ergonomics that will prevent fatigue and discomfort after prolonged wear.

That's exactly why we know how to appreciate when we see a weight that does not exceed 250 grams on the packaging of the device, and Logitech's G535 meets that criterion.

The design of this device is mainly subordinated precisely to being light. The total volume is lower than many headsets intended for playing, and the plastic is not bulky.

Despite this, the material and build quality give an impression of stability and strength, which means that even careless handling will not mean the risk of breakage or damage.

A collapsible microphone is an expected feature of such a product, but we'd like to see some flexibility from the headphones, which can only hold one position in this model.

Connection is possible via a USB-C cable to charge the battery, and with a full charge, the device works for up to 35 hours. The wireless mode works without problems thanks to Logitech's branded Lightspeed receiver, which enables use with negligible and completely imperceptible signal latency.

Such instantaneous sound reception will be especially useful for players who have to react to environmental stimuli in a fraction of a second.

The lack of moving parts is one of the secrets of Logitech's low mass headset, and its adjustment for different sizes and shapes of heads is achieved with a stretchable belt, which rests on the scalp.

It is a simple and intuitive solution, which works well even in terms of aesthetics, due to the nice combination of the blue-purple strip, which looks good paired with the shiny and matte black plastic.

For users with larger or wider heads, the headphones will not ideally close the ears, so there will be a "spill" of sound and the impossibility of creating a closed chamber, which should provide an ideal sound impression.

It pays to make the effort to fit the headphones to your ears because the sound quality is one of the most important features of the G535 model. 40 mm neodymium drivers deliver sound with a relatively neutral profile.

Using Logitech's G HUB software, it is possible to fine-tune the balance of frequencies, and playing with them showed that even at the most extreme settings, the bass remains clean and powerful.

We encountered a somewhat "tiny" sound only in the middle part of the frequency range, but the general impression of the sound quality exceeded our expectations.

The flexible handle of the microphone is adjustable and also serves as a switch that turns off reception when the microphone is in the closed position.

The recording quality is not studio quality, but it will be good enough for common needs, such as meetings, calls, or coordinating with friends in online games.

In the end, the decision to buy the G535 headset will most likely boil down to just one question: does it sit comfortably on your head or notAll its other characteristics meet expectations.
