The popular YouTube channel Moore's Law Is Dead offers us an insight into the new renders of the upcoming Intel Arc Alchemist desktop graphics card (model with 512 EU), as well as the release period of mobile and desktop GPUs.
The video points out that the exceptional renders of the reference cooler, created by a team of enthusiasts, are not based on speculation, but it is expected that there will be some changes when the final product is released.
Gamers usually choose graphics cards based on performance and price, but certainly, no one will turn down a GPU that also has a good design (especially if it's system creators who prefer open or transparent housings). It seems that Intel will not lag behind in this segment either, and Arc Alchemist cards offer a tempting design and colors.
The housing with two fans is silver in color, and there are LED lights for a subtle and attractive design. On the same side where the illuminated Intel logo is located, it is possible to see both 8-pin and 6-pin dual power connectors.
The model shown on these renders (DG2-512EU) has 4096 shaders and offers a 256-bit memory bus for 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
When it comes to the release date, Moore’s Law Is Dead points out that Intel Arc Alchemist maps in the desktop version will be released during the second quarter of 2022, while laptop versions of the GPU could arrive during the first quarter as well.
