PNY is expanding its DDR4 desktop memory offering with the XLR8 Gaming Low Profile series. The PNY XLR8 Gaming Low Profile series is a DDR4 RAM that is, as the name suggests, low profile.
It offers the same performance as other XLR8 models but is designed for small format computer enthusiasts where space comes first.
With a height of 32 millimeters, you don’t have to worry about whether it will fit into the case or interfere with the CPU heatsink. The whole thing is designed in black, as far as laminates and aluminum coolers are concerned. The built-in aluminum heat distributor offers adequate heat dissipation, even when the memory is under heavy load.
The newly announced low-profile memory offers a wide range of frequencies and density options for optimal compatibility. Thanks to compatibility with Intel XMP 2.0, it is easy to achieve extreme performance, which makes XLR8 Gaming DDR4 Low Profile memory an interesting choice for PC and gaming fans.
Consumers have a choice of three different capacities – 2666 MHz on the CL 16 and a voltage of 1.2 V; 3200 MHz on the CL 16 and a voltage of 1.35 V and 3600 MHz on the CL 18 and a voltage of 1.35 V.
PNY XLR8 Gaming Low Profile desktop memory should soon be available for sale individually and in sets consisting of two modules.
