Ryzen 5000 on 300 motherboards should be supported

MSI's in-house mainboards with AMD's 300 series chipset should support both Windows 11 and Ryzen 5000 CPUs via BIOS update.
MSI's Windows 11 compatible BIOS for motherboards with a 300 series chipset is said to contain not only official support for the still young Microsoft operating system but also a major change in CPU support. According to this, there is "secret" support for Desktop CPUs of the Ryzen 5000 series with the code name "Vermeer", because the descriptive text for the BIOS update published in November does not mention this.
The support can be confirmed with the "Ryzen SMU Checker" tool after installing the appropriate BIOS and there is also a CPU-Z screenshot showing a Ryzen 5 5600X on an MSI MAG B350 Tomahawk based on the AGESA version 1.1.0.0 shows, while the much more recent version 1.2.0.5 BETA is now available.
However, not all Ryzen 5000 chips should be compatible and, for example, the Cezanne APUs of the Ryzen 5000G series should not be included. According to a Reddit entry, contrary to the message, the B350 Gaming Pro Carbon and B350 PC MATE models will still only come with AGESA 1.0.0.6 despite the update
Those mainboards that are supposed to offer the support upgrade for the Ryzen 5000 are listed below together with the respective BIOS versions, which in turn can be downloaded from the support websites for the respective models on the official website:

Other manufacturers such as Asus and Gigabyte had meanwhile already released BIOS versions with Ryzen 5000 support for their A320 motherboards, which is why MSI is expected to follow suit in the coming weeks. Regarding the upcoming refresh called "Vermeer-X" with 3D V-Cache, 300 series motherboards that support "Vermeer" are also compatible with the new series that should appear early next year for the AM4 socket.
