It’s now been over two months since Sony and Naughty Dog spread the good news that PC gamers could also enjoy Uncharted 4 and the spin-off Lost Legacy. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is slated for the beginning of the year and the rating by the Entertainment Software Rating Board in the US also feeds hopes that the release date will be announced soon.

Yesterday’s Playstation Showcase 2021 had a lot to offer, not just for console players. There was even a specific announcement for PC fans: The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. It has already been rumored in the past that Sony could bring the popular series to the PC. So now the time has come, but in a slightly different form than some might have expected.

That includes the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

There is already a collection of Uncharted titles: The Nathan Drake Collection contains the first three offshoots of the series, all of which were released for the PS3. However, these games are not included in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. This consists of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the independent expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, in which we don’t play as Drake, but Chloe Frazer, who already had a prominent appearance in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Both games will be included in the collection as remasters. So we can count on better resolution, frame rate, and stability. It is currently unknown whether the developers will change other aspects of the title.

The PS5 version of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is due to appear in early 2022. A short time later, the time has come on the PC. Sony does not tell us exactly what that means on the Playstation blog, but we can expect the port to be available by summer at the latest (if there are no difficulties in development). This is in the hands of Iron Galaxy, who bring Uncharted to the PC for Sony and Naughty Dog.
