The international hacker group "Anonymous" announced that it is going to war against the American billionaire Elon Musk (49) because he manipulates the price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin with his messages on social networks. In the video published by the hackers, they state that the first man of the company "Tesla" has seized too much power over the cryptocurrency market and that they are tired of the way he treats ordinary workers.

He mocks people

Musk, who according to the latest allegations is "worth" 172 billion dollars, published the last in a series of messages related to cryptocurrencies on Thursday, the Daily Mail reported. Namely, he posted the Bitcoin logo on Twitter with the broken heart emoji, which indicates that the billionaire and his companies are no longer counting on the new cryptocurrency. His message immediately caused a market shock and the value of this currency fell by seven percent on the stock exchanges on Friday. Mask's move provoked the anger of "Anonymous":

"Millions of small investors really counted on profits from their cryptocurrencies to improve their lives. It’s something you’ll never understand because you were born into a stolen wealth of emerald mines in South Africa’s apartheid and have no idea what the struggle is for most of the world’s employees. Of course, investors have taken the risk and everyone knows that they are ready for instability in the cryptocurrency market, but your tweets show obvious disrespect for ordinary workers. While dreams are being ruined for hard-working people, you are mocking them from one of your villas worth millions of dollars"- it is stated, among other things, in the message that the hackers sent to Musk.

Who are the "Anonymous"?

The hacker group "Anonymous" was formed in 2003 on the forum of the 4chan portal. It is a decentralized community of individuals gathered around the idea of free internet, the abolition of censorship, and restrictive copyright laws. The group stands for the principle of direct/immediate democracy. The group drew attention to itself in 2008 with actions against the law on the protection of intellectual property and internet piracy. They carried out several notable hacker attacks, such as the one on the Church of Scientology and on Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign.

They supported Wikileaks in the war against the American government due to the publication of confidential diplomatic dispatches. They are known for wearing the mask of Guy Fawkes, who was a conspirator against the British King James, and who died when the conspiracy was discovered. The most skilled hackers founded their group called "LulzSec". The leader of this group was nicknamed Sabu. The FBI managed to expose him and it turned out to be Hector Xavier Monsegur from New York. He reached an agreement with the FBI and unsuccessfully tried to "fix" the arrest of Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks.

Until recently, the billionaire was a big promoter of Bitcoin, but he changed sides and suspended Tesla's decision to accept payments from customers in Bitcoins for their electric cars, and the reason was the alleged excessive energy consumption in cryptocurrency mining. It seems that the "Anonymous" did not forgive him:

Narcissistic rich man

"In recent years, you have enjoyed one of the most favorable reputations among billionaires, because you took advantage of the desire of many to live in a world with electric cars and space exploration, but recently your carefully created public image has been revealed and people are beginning to see you as nothing more than another narcissistic rich man desperate for attention. You may think you are the smartest in the world, but you have found yourself equal. We are Anonymous. We are a legion, expect us" - the message concludes.
