HP U27 4K - 27 inch Wireless Monitor

You may connect the 27-inch 4K display not just by HDMI and DisplayPort, but also wirelessly via WiFi Direct Connect to Windows laptops. Because there is only one power cord going from the monitor, wirelessly connecting it is quick and easy. Because the display is powered by an external power supply, the low-voltage cable connecting the power supply to the monitor may be thin.

The monitor's design is founded on the belief that beauty and elegance may be found in simplicity. Because the top and side frames are so small, numerous monitors can be placed next to each other to create an almost continuous widescreen view.

Inserting a metal, plastic-coated rectangular protrusion into the stand secures the 27-inch display panel. It's easy to use and dependable.

The display panel may be adjusted in height and tilted back and forth by up to 10 cm. The box contains an HDMI cable as well as a VESA mount, which allows you to put the monitor on a swivel mount, for example.

If you want to use a wireless connection, We recommend making this the preferred way for a quick and trouble-free connection. Then, on your laptop, simply press the Win + K keyboard shortcut to see the picture projection options. Select the HP U27 from the list of possibilities, and the monitor will display the four-digit code that must be input the first time you connect. A wireless connection with a reaction time of 100 - 250 ms is enough for routine tasks or multimedia monitoring.

However, with a cable connection and a response time of 5 ms, the display will also suit casual players. AMD FreeSync technology synchronizes the refresh rate with the graphics processor, resulting in smoother display performance. At 4K resolution, the refresh rate is 60 Hz, while a WiFi connection, is 30 Hz. Despite the fact that the monitor does not support HDR, the colors are accurate and vibrant. The display panel's anti-reflective surface significantly suppresses glare while retaining good visual contrast.

The image is subjectively sharper when compared to a 2K (WQHD) display with the same diagonal size. With a colorimetric probe, I measured 98 percent sRGB color space coverage and 74 percent AdobeRGB color space coverage, thus it's also appropriate for inexperienced graphic artists and video editors.

The monitor also offers a blue light reduction option, which causes the display's colors to shift slightly to a warmer spectrum. Of course, the white hue will have a tiny yellow tint, but you will rapidly get used to it, just as you would in a room lit by light bulbs with a lower color temperature. Please keep in mind that wireless connectivity is only possible on Windows 10 and 11 laptops. It is necessary to have an Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and WiFi 802.11ac. WiFi Direct is not supported by MacBooks. The monitor does not automatically switch between wired and wireless connections, thus you must configure this in the monitor menu.

The HP Quick Pair application, which requires the monitor to be associated with a laptop through Bluetooth, helps to alleviate the condition. If you turn on the laptop near the monitor, the application will automatically connect to it.

The sound from the built-in speakers, which face downwards, is among the best, but it's still limited by the size of the acoustic transducers and the volume of the baffle, so fans of high-quality music should use headphones or external speakers.
