Razer announces Deathstalker V2 with laser engraving

Mechanical keyboards typically have large keycaps and a large stroke, however, there are different options. The company Razer is adding a high-end variant to its line of low-profile keyboards. So there's the new Deathstalker V2, which comes in a variety of flavors.

There are number pad keyboards and tenkeyless keyboards available. If you prefer to write wirelessly, there are wireless Pro models available. All configurations use freshly developed optical switches with 2.8 mm of complete key travel.

The actuation point for linear switches is 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm for clicky switches with tactile feedback, depending on the type of switch chosen. According to the manufacturer, an infrared laser beam ensures that keystrokes are registered as rapidly as feasible.

Customers can get the Deathstalker V2 with either linear or tactile switches. Razer boasts that the laser etching on the flat keycaps will make the coating resistant to fading and even outperform double-shot PBT. The keyboard has an aluminum surface, and the keys can be individually lighted.

The Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro contains a Razer Hyperspeed radio receiver for minimal latency and can also be utilized wirelessly through Bluetooth 5.0, as opposed to the non-Pro variants. The keyboard may wirelessly connect to up to three different devices.

Using physical buttons, you can switch between the three devices at any time. The Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro is powered by USB-C and controlled via a wire. The battery life of the tenkeyless version without a number pad is stated to be 50 hours, whereas the version with a number pad has a maximum of 40 hours.

The braided USB-C cable on the wired Razer Deathstalker V2, which costs roughly $200, may be detached and replaced. The wireless Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro costs $250, whereas the Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless costs roughly $220 without a number pad.
