Samsung has introduced new microSD cards (EVO Plus and PRO Plus).

Samsung’s new memory cards are designed to expand the memory on mobile devices, but also to store high-quality photos and 4K videos taken using smartphones, action cameras, and drones.

In the case of the Samsung EVO Plus model, we can count on capacities of 64, 128, 256, and 512 GB. Samsung EVO Plus microSD cards are intended for slightly less demanding users, where speeds reach up to 130 MB / s when reading and writing data (cards meet the requirements of speed class U3, V30, A2).

On the other hand, the PRO Plus model offers very good read and write speeds (160/120 MB / s). Samsung PRO Plus microSD cards will be available in capacities of 128, 256, and 512 GB.

The cards feature a new Blue Wave design. The new microSD card models are resistant to water, extreme temperatures, X-rays, wear, drops, and magnetic shock. Plus, we can count on a long, ten-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Sales of the new models should begin in the early fourth quarter of 2021 with a starting price of $ 18.99.
