Ubisoft scheduled the release of the Skull and Bones for November

At the end of last month, rumors began to appear that the development of Skull and Bones had entered the final stage and that Ubisoft would announce the official release date at the beginning of July. They turned out to be correct, since the mentioned publishing house announced yesterday that we will be able to play Skull and Bones on November 8 this year.

Although it was officially announced during the 2017 E3 conference, development itself began back in 2013 after the extremely well-received naval battles seen in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag that brought a breath of freshness to the said series and were highly praised by players and critics alike.

Given the high expectations, it is not surprising that during the development there were numerous changes to the original concept, so originally, under the working name Black Flag Infinite, a cruise in the Caribbean Sea was envisioned, and at some point, the developers would start creating the fantasy Hyperborea, while we will a pirate's craft ultimately carved on the waves of the Indian Ocean.

In addition to the environment itself, the authors at one point concluded that technology has progressed over time, so they refined the technical base, which all resulted in nine long years of development.

Basically, it is a tactical action game with a third-person view that we can play through a solo campaign with the obligatory RPG elements of our chosen one's progress, and during the game, it brings more advanced vessels that we will load with various equipment, including numerous weapons such as cannons and rockets.

In addition to sinking itself, if we feel that we are superior in terms of manpower, it is possible to board the opponent's ship and occupy it with the crew and see additional details about ship battles, adjustments, and progress through the game in the appropriate video that follows.

As the authors say, their goal is to present players with an "authentic pirate life", as much as possible through games of this type, and during the game, we will be offered various contracts, we will collect the necessary resources, and lurk along the trade routes so that rich merchant ship falls into the hands.

Each decision brings certain long-term consequences with a different system of risks and rewards, and we will be able to expand our empire by teaming up with two additional players. An additional challenge is provided by the inclusion of the PvP game mode, where we will be pursued by rival factions, local rulers, as well as other players seeking wealth and fame.
