Rumors have been indicating for some time that new AMD EPYC "Milan" processors, which use 3D V-Cache, are in preparation. Now the specifications for the upcoming line, codenamed Milan-X, have appeared.
The specifications were released by @ExecutableFix, offering details for the SKUs of future AMD EPYC7003x processors that implement AMD’s X3D technology.

Based on leaked details, these models will have 768MB L3 cache, up to 64 cores and clock speeds up to 3.8GHz. Models with 32 and 64 cores will have 280W TDP, while models with 16 and 24 cores will have 240W TDP.
One retail listing for the Milan-X SKU appeared last month, suggesting we won’t have to wait too long for the official release of the new AMD EPYC Milan-X processors.
