With the ROG Rapture GT-AX6000, Asus has introduced a new WLAN router that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and is expected to achieve a combined speed of 6,000 Mbit / s: 1,148 gigabits per second over the 2.4 GHz Band and 4,804 gigabits per second over the 5 GHz band. This is up to 2.3 times faster than a 4x4 dual-band router that only sends Wi-Fi 5 into the race, according to Asus.

The manufacturer installs two 2.5 Gb / sports, one of which can be set up as both a WAN and a LAN connection. Link aggregation can also be used to add steam to the network: in conjunction with a 1.0 Gb / s connection, the data rate increases to 3.5 gigabits per second. The connection of two 1.0 Gb / s ports with a total of 2.0 gigabits per second is also an option with the ROG Rapture GT-AX6000. 160 MHz, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO are also on the plus side. A 2.0 GHz quad-core processor from Broadcom is used as the computing heart, flanked by a GiByte RAM and 256 MByte flash memory. In addition to the two 2.5 GBit ports and the four 1,000 MBit / s fast RJ-45 connections, Asus relies on a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.2 "Gen 1x1" port for the ROG Rapture GT-AX6000.
