Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 and 4080 with 3D Mark Ratings -Rumour

Based on previously recognized technical data for the Geforce RTX 4070 and 4080, leaker kopite7kimi has estimated the 3D Mark Time Spy Extreme Scores. If this is correct, the Geforce RTX 4080 will be about twice as fast as its predecessor, while the RTX 4070 would be faster than an RTX 3090.

Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 and 4080 with 3D Mark Ratings -Rumour

The number of leaks concerning Nvidia's Ada Lovelace graphics cards is growing, and many of them appear to have reached a pretty universal consensus on the models and expansion stages.

The well-known leaker "kopite7kimi" has now provided his opinion based on the disclosed data on the Geforce RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 expansion.

According to earlier leaks, the Geforce RTX 4090 should get up to 19,000 points in the 3D Mark Time Spy Extreme Score, a well comparable benchmark metric.

The Geforce RTX 4080, which should hit the market in the fourth quarter with 10,240 Cuda cores, should score more than 15,000 points in Time Spy Extreme, according to kopite7kimi.

In comparison, the average score of a Geforce RTX 3090 Ti, the fastest graphics card to date, is only 10,804 points, while a mid-range graphics card like the Radeon RX 6700 XT receives only 5,655 points.

The Geforce RTX 4070 is estimated to have a score of roughly 10,000 points, placing it perfectly between the typical 9,464 points of an RTX 3090 and the 10,804 points of the RTX 3090 Ti.

The Geforce RTX 4080 would be about twice as quick as the Geforce RTX 3080, which got around 8,000 points in the benchmark.

The first graphics card to be released is the Geforce RTX 4090, which is still due in October, with smaller variants following later.
