Teamgroup is expanding its portfolio of storage solutions with two completely different products: the T-Force Cardea Z44L PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD is aimed at gamers, while the T-Create Classic Thunderbolt 3 is an external SSD aimed at content creators.
The T-Force Cardea Z44L is a flexible SSD, with capacities of 500GB and 1TB, and is characterized by an SLC cache and a thin graphene heat conductor that improves heat dissipation by nine percent. This SSD is capable of read and write speeds of up to 3500 MB / s and 3000 MB / s, as well as 263K / 382K IOPS thanks to the PCIe 4.0 interface. The durability of the SSD is above average, with 400TBW (1TB model) and 200TBW (500GB model).
The T-Create Classic external SSD offers speeds of up to 2700 MB / s and is achieved by a combination of PCIe 3.0 interface and Thunderbolt 3 support. When using the USB 3.2 Gen2 interface, the maximum speed is 900 MB / s. The SSD case is made of silver-colored aluminum and functions as a heat conductor, offering passive cooling and protection from dust and falls. The SSD is available in capacities of up to 4TB and is intended for creators who often transfer large files.
Both SSDs are expected to go on sale later in September. The 500GB Cardea Z44L will be available for $ 75, while the 1TB model will cost $ 167. The T-Create Classic external SSD will have a starting price of $ 250 for the 1TB model, $ 450 for the 2TB version, and $ 800 for the 4TB model.
