Anya Taylor-Joy has already got to work on the preparations for the filming of 'Furiosa', the prequel to ' Mad Max: Fury Road '. In an interview for Entertainment Weekly, on the occasion of the promotion of ' Last Night in Soho ', she spoke about her training: "I think my preparation is simply to become strong enough to carry this film. It is what it is. It's emotional strength, physical strength, mental strength. I can't wait. I'm so excited. "

The protagonist of ' Queen's Gambit ' picks up where Charlize Theron, who plays Imperator Furiosa in the original film, left off. On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she talked about her predecessor: "I fell in love with Furiosa because of the way Charlize presented her. She did an amazing job. It was so beautiful. I can't even think about taking her place. It has to be. something different because it just can't be done"

George Miller also spoke about the actress, whom he confessed hadn't seen act until he saw a previous cut of 'Last night in Soho', at which point he decided to hire her. He explained how his casting for Empire magazine was: "I just told her, I want you to do a very simple test, which is to read something on camera. It was the "I'm mad as hell" monologue from the movie Network. Besides how brilliantly it's written you can say it while looking at the camera. You don't need a partner. Anya did her own version, which was very good. So I gave her a couple of notes and she just nailed it. I think it was done on an iPhone. I sent it to the studio. I explained why I thought she was good for the role. I was really happy to talk about it, but the video was so persuasive that there was no need to talk. The studio gave the green light" Trip to London Soho

The actress is going to appear in Edgar Wright's new movie, 'Last Night in Soho'. In it, a young woman travels to London in the 60s and there she meets her idol, an aspiring singer. Everything will have a dark twist and a  lot of consequences.

Anya will be joined by stars like Thomasin Mckenzie, (' Jojo Rabbit '), Matt Smith (' The Crown '), and Diana Rigg (' Game of Thrones '), who died last year.
