HOW TO GET RID OF SPAM EMAIL FOREVER

The more time it takes to open an account, the more often Gmail addresses appear in the various databases that companies and individuals use to send spam emails.

Such messages are mostly advertisements, but there are also more dangerous ones, through which malware and other malicious campaigns spread.

If, for example, the database of a website we registered on falls into the wrong hands, and the attackers use it to make a profit, and by reselling it to various companies around the world, the inbox will soon be flooded with various spam emails.

It’s true that Gmail automatic filter usually works pretty well, but there are steps that can be taken if spam continues to arrive. Step 1

The first solution is related to the mentioned filters, which can be set more precisely, and that the messages of a certain sender, or those that contain a keyword, are marked as undesirable. To create new filters, you need to open Gmail and click on “Show search options” in the search box at the top, enter the criteria for the filter, and click on “Create filter”. Then it is enough to mark the fields for the desired actions and to select “Create filter” again at the end. See the gallery: Step 2

In addition, the “Cancel subscription” link, which is usually at the end of the email and comes in other forms, such as “If you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter, click here”, can help. After that, the emails of that sender no longer arrive in the inbox, although the function does not always work. Step 3

There’s also the “Unsubscribe” option, which Gmail usually puts next to the subject’s email address or next to the sender’s address, if the sender didn’t include the option in the email. Step 4

The “Mark as Spam” or “Report Spam” option, which can be accessed by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the email (it is best to use if the previous steps failed), can also help. See how spam is still blocked: Step 5

Lastly, it is important to keep in mind that a Gmail address should not be used to register on websites that are not used regularly. Temporary email accounts can be created for that, or those that are used for such things can be used, but not for everyday communication. That way, the inbox will stay cleaner, without unwanted and potentially dangerous emails.
