Marvel's Spider-Man for PC: date and technical specifications
Four years have passed since Marvel's Spider-Man debuted on PlayStation 4, garnering exceptionally high scores from both users and critics from the start, as evidenced by its Metacritic remarks, an 87 Metascore, and an 8.7 in the average of user votes. An unusual and very pleasant convergence of criteria that does not happen very often, leaving any doubt that we are dealing with a fantastic title, not spectacular, but quite noteworthy.
Thus, and given the evolution in the jump from Sony exclusives to PC, many users have been waiting for a long time for the jump of Marvel's Spider-Man, a movement that had been discussed for a long period of time, and that was officially confirmed by Sony at its latest State of Play, in which fans were informed that it would be the next PlayStation 4 exclusive to make the jump to PC, thus preempting other titles that were supposed to arrive earlier.
And today, we finally have concrete details about the arrival of Marvel's Spider-Man PC, beginning with the date on which this long-awaited movement will take place, next August 12, with only a little more than three weeks to go, the day in which it will be possible to buy it both on Steam and on the Epic Games Store. However, for those who are eager or desire rewards, the title is already available in a pre-purchase mode in both, and those who acquire it in this manner will receive the following items:
- Iron Spider Suit
- Speed suit
- Spider-Punk Costume
- Spider-Drone Gadget
- 5 skill points
In addition, Sony has made public, in conjunction with the activation of the pre-purchase option, the technical requirements for enjoying Marvel's Spider-Man with various graphic settings.

Sony, on the other hand, has announced that this PC port of Marvel's Spider-Man will support NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA DLAA technologies, as well as offering not only a wide range of resolutions but also a wide range of adjustments for various aspect ratios, thus adapting to the varied ecosystem of them present in the PC world.
Ray tracing, on the other hand, will be applied to reflections in systems that satisfy the technical standards required to activate it, which, given that we're talking about Marvel's bespoke New York, hints at a magnificent visual result. Even more so when we consider that, among the ray tracing settings available in Marvel's Spider-Man, there will be a new higher quality level meant to get the most out of the PC while also leaving us with an open mouth.
