The Boys: When is Season 4 coming to Amazon Prime
The third season of the hit show "The Boys" is now available on Amazon Prime Video. When will new episodes be released, and what do we currently know about Season 4?
Since July 8, 2022, the third season of "The Boys" has been entirely available on Amazon Prime. In it, we see the superheroes from a completely different angle, this time as selfish villains. This is opposed by the eponymous group "The Boys."
There were some disputes, new challenges, and the notorious " heroism " from the underlying comics, which was a little different here in the third season of the series. The entire saga culminated in the final eighth episode and a thrilling final showdown.
The question now is, what happens next in season 4 of The Boys? When will fresh trailers and episodes be released? And who is returning to the cast? In this overview, we address these and other questions.
When the third season premiered, Amazon confirmed that The Boys will be renewed. Filming for the fourth season is set to begin in August. Eric Kripke, the series creator, has already planned at least five seasons.
As the series' success demonstrates, Amazon will undoubtedly stick with The Boys and purchase additional episodes. In any event, we don't expect fresh episodes of the fourth season until 2024, as the previous season's production also took two years.
There is presently no clear information concerning Season 4's plot. Even the performers are unsure where the adventure will take them, as filming does not begin until August.
The comic template also provides a little clue about how things will progress, as the series' events are only loosely based on them. Some characters' fates were swapped, defused, or otherwise altered in the Amazon Prime edition.
However, it will be intriguing to observe how Hughie and Annie's relationship develops following their separation in the season finale. Especially now that Annie is a member of the Boys. Soldier Boy, on the other hand, has been put on hold but may return in Season 4.
Butcher's fate is also unknown, as his newfound abilities come at a heavy cost and he does not have much time left. He will, however, most likely attempt to release his late wife's son (Ryan) from Homelander's clutches.
