AMD vs Intel: Ryzen leading again in the price comparison
This week, AMD's Ryzen 5000 CPUs are again in the top two in price comparison. Intel's Alder Lake in the form of the Core i5-12600K only follows in third place.
In line with the release of Intel's new Alder Lake CPUs, the new models made it into the top 10 most sought-after processors when comparing the price. At the beginning of last week, the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K models took the first three places. In the meantime, however, AMD's Ryzen 5000 models replaced them. Core i5-12600K particularly popular
The first two places are currently AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 5 5600X. The first Intel model follows them: Intel's Core i5-12600K defends the company in the top 3. The other Alder Lake models, however, only come in fifth and sixth. The Core i9-12900K and the Core i7-12700K are apparently less interesting for customers than Intel's entry-level model.

9 | AMD | Ryzen 7 5700G | Boxed |
10 | AMD | Ryzen 5 3600 | Tray |
The remaining places in the price comparison are almost entirely filled with AMD's Ryzen 5000 CPUs, the Ryzen 9 5950X as the top model still makes it to 8th place. Intel's KF models without IGP, on the other hand, are completely missing from the list. But an older Ryzen model made it into the top 10: The tray version of the Ryzen 5 3600 is currently in last place. That is mainly due to the price of the Zen 2 CPU because the tray version is 223 euros. It is currently significantly cheaper than the hardly available boxed model at 294 euros.
In terms of price developments, there have been no major movements in the past few days. Compared to the prices on November 8th, no clear price trend is discernible. With the Ryzen 5000 CPUs, some models were more expensive, while others were cheaper. In contrast, it is a little clearer at Intel: The prices either stayed the same or fell a little. However, there was only strong movement with the Core i9-12900K, which is now available for 657 euros instead of 695 euros.
