It is expected that Apple will soon introduce new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops. The 14-inch size will represent a new display option, and it remains to be seen whether it will replace the 13-inch model, while the 16-inch version will get an upgrade.

More details have now emerged about the potential display resolutions of these laptops, thanks to data from the macOS Monterey beta.

According to the allegations, two new display options are listed: 3456 x 2234 Retina and 3024 x 1964 Retina. Since these resolutions do not match any of the existing Apple products, it is suggested that they are the resolutions of the upcoming MacBook Pro models.

The assumption is that the 3456 x 2234 Retina resolution belongs to the 16-inch laptop model, which currently has a 3072 x 1920 display, while the 13-inch MacBook Pro has a 2560 x 1600 display.

The information is currently only in the realm of speculation and Apple is expected to release more official details about the new MacBook Pro laptops soon.
